Olay Total Effects 7 in One Anti-Aging Moisturizer Review

Hello my fellow beauty lovers!

I received a mini size of the Olay Total Effects 7 in One Anti-Aging Moisturizer for review from BzzAgent. BzzAgent is a site that you can sign up for free, complete surveys and possibly receive all kinds of products for review on whatever social media sites you have. You don't have to have a blog or a youtube channel, but having those things increases your chances of getting products. This product is currently available in stores, but if you want to try a mini size for yourself they should start popping up in the new year!

You can see this is a product with alot of claims. It's basically presenting itself as a skincare miracle with those "7 signs of aging" it says it fights. These results are said to show with 4 weeks of use, however I did not receive enough product to use it for that length of time - mine lasted maybe 2 weeks.

Price

The price on the Walmart Canada is $23.48, which is pretty standard for an Olay product. Olay tends to be on the higher range of drugstore prices. While the price is right in line with other Olay products, I don't think I'd pay that price for this particular product. I will pay higher prices for better, more natural ingredients and this product does not fall into that category. This isn't a product I'd purchase based on the price alone.

Packaging

The packaging is typical plastic, with a pump that simply stops working when the product is out. I have no issues with it, and I liked the gold and black design.

The Product

As I said, I used this product for about 2 weeks, and I found it to be nothing more than a basic luminous moisturizer. Perhaps if I had a bigger sample to use for a longer period of time, I'd notice more results and changes in my skin but that is not the case. I don't have too many wrinkles, but I do have fine lines around my eyes. As this is not an eye cream, I didn't use it around that area so I can't report to you about how it works for that. It definitely does even skin tone and brighten appearance, giving a youthful glow to the skin. I did not notice it minimizing the look of my pores, and I have rather large pores in my opinion. I was hoping this would be a miracle product for that, but it's just not. It was a very nice moisturizer and left my skin feeling comfortable and soft.

Final Thoughts

While it's not a miracle product, it's not a bad product either. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a new moisturizer, especially if you're someone who doesn't wear makeup just because of how this leaves your skin looking on its own.

Let me know if you've tried this product - I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

  1. I normally like olay products but I recently tried one that gave me a chemical burn! It is very similar to this (that you reviewed.) But hopefully this one won't do that to me! LOL. Great review Debbie!!!!
